▶︎ What will you do:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and HR teams, with a primary focus on payroll operations. This role will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll, including for expatriate employees, and supporting related accounting and compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Processed monthly payroll for both local and expatriate employees
• Reviewed and reflected attendance data, various deductions, bonuses, and allowances
• Handled social and labor insurance procedures, including onboarding and offboarding
• Managed year-end tax adjustments and statutory filings such as tax reports (e.g., Gensen Choshu-hyo)
• Processed reimbursements for transportation, business trips, and other employee benefits
• Entered payroll and accounting data into internal systems and maintained confidential records
• Coordinated with external vendors such as payroll providers, social insurance consultants, and tax advisors etc.

▶︎ Qualification :

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related administrative roles
• Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Experience or exposure to payroll processes, including expatriate payroll support
• Knowledge of expatriate payroll structure (e.g., tax equalization, housing allowance)
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Prior experience in a multinational company or international environment
