Position Overview: This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company as an Accounting Specialist. You will play a key role in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the finance department. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and processes. Benefits: Competitive salary: $55,000 - $62,000 Bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package - 90% Health, $8.25/week Dental, 100% Vision PTO, paid and floating holidays Retirement with match based on profitability Responsibilities: Enter all incoming AP invoices into the system for payment processing. Present list of weekly checks/ACH/Wire Transfers to Accounting Specialist and/or Controller for processing. Mails checks and file paperwork weekly. Distribute credit card statements to employees with credit cards and ensure receipts are returned in a timely manner. Create Purchase Orders as needed for company purchases. Fuel tax processing & reporting Process invoices weekly for all customers. Post cash receipts weekly. Assists with Month end duties as directed. Other duties as assigned by Accounting Specialist, Controller or President. Qualifications: ~ Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance ~2+ years of accounting experience ~2+ years of office experience ~ Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Proficiency ~ Strong analytical ability and operational focus. ~ Trustworthy, with high ability to maintain confidential information.
