Job Description
CAUTION: This isn't your grandmother's recruiting role!
Picture yourself as a talent-seeking superhero, jet-setting between two of the world's most prestigious tech breeding grounds - Stanford and MIT. We're on a mission to discover the next generation of CS/ML wizards, and we need two extraordinary individuals to lead the charge.
The Nitty-gritty - $75,000/year (plus we've got your travel covered)
- Full-time adventure
- Home base: Austin, TX (when you're not conquering campuses)
You're Our Person If - Your energy is so contagious, it should come with a warning label
- Your organizational skills make Marie Kondo look amateur
- You eat "impossible" for breakfast
- Campus life gives you life
- You can vibe with both coding nerds and student body presidents
- Living out of a suitcase sounds like an adventure, not a burden
What You Will Be Doing Your Year at a Glance:
- Transform campus spaces into talent discovery zones
- Orchestrate unforgettable recruitment events that students actually want to attend
- Build and nurture relationships with tomorrow's tech innovators
- Master the art of talent pipeline management (think: less spreadsheets, more strategy)
- Embrace the nomadic life between Austin, Stanford, and MIT
What You Won’t Be Doing - Collecting dust in a cubicle (your office is wherever campus life happens)
- Clock-watching from 9 to 5 (because great talent doesn't operate on a schedule)
- Hidden behind a screen - this is a people-first, keyboard-second kind of role
College Recruiter Key Responsibilities Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Build and nurture a pipeline of 100 brilliant CS/ML minds from Stanford and MIT through magnetic campus presence, authentic relationship building, and your own unique brand of recruitment magic.
Basic Requirements - Proven track record of at least 1 year in college recruiting or university admissions, with a knack for high-volume candidate engagement
- A history of crushing recruitment goals that makes others say "wow"
- Event planning prowess that turns recruitment events into can't-miss experiences
- Project management skills that would make a NASA engineer proud
- Tech-savvy enough to navigate ATS/CRM systems in your sleep
- Ready to call Austin, TX home (if you're not already here)
- Prepared for 75% travel during peak seasons (January-May, Aug-Nov) - your suitcase will be your best friend
