Customer Service Representative – Pharmacy Support
Remote (after training) | Onsite during training ( Louisville, KY)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $17/hour
• Monday–Friday; shifts may vary between 8:00am–4:30pm and 11:30am–8:00pm
• W2, Full-Time
ROLE IMPACT: As a Customer Service Representative supporting pharmacy operations, you'll serve as a vital liaison between patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. This role ensures patients receive timely support for prescription refills, shipment scheduling, and policy guidance, directly impacting continuity of care and service satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls to assist patients, caregivers, and providers
• Accurately process prescription refills and coordinate shipment schedules
• Deliver clear and empathetic communication while resolving caller needs
• Follow up with next steps to ensure seamless service continuity
• Adhere to internal policies and standard operating procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must obtain or be eligible to obtain Pharmacy Tech Registration prior to or within the first week of employment
• 1+ year of customer service experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or call center environment
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within posted hours
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Multi-line phone systems
• CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
• Prescription processing software
• Internal knowledge bases and workflow tools
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience in pharmacy, PBM, or specialty medication environments
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
• Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency
