Senior Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced Care Specialist

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed practitioners and RNs
• Perform advanced emergency medical procedures and therapeutic interventions
• Provide specialized patient transport services throughout the hospital facility
• Assist with critical care activities and patient comfort measures
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supply inventory
• Document patient care data and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Required Qualifications:

• Current Virginia State certification as EMT-Advanced, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT-Paramedic
• AHA BLS-HCP and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical ability to assist with patient movement and transport

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of EMT-Advanced, EMT-Intermediate, or Paramedic experience
• National Registry EMT/Paramedic certification
• PALS, PHTLS, or BTLS certification
• Hazmat Awareness certification
• Experience in hospital-based emergency care
