Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Sacaton, Arizona. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a non-profit organization by supporting key HR functions. Responsibilities: - Review applications and screen candidates to identify individuals with relevant experience. - Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. - Prepare and send offer letters to selected candidates. - Arrange pre-employment screenings, including drug tests and background checks. - Maintain accurate and organized HR documentation and records. - Provide administrative support for HR functions, including benefit coordination and auditing. - Assist with onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. - Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to manage employee data. - Address inquiries from candidates and employees with professionalism and efficiency. - Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR assistant or administrative role. - Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar platforms. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. - Excellent communication skills to interact with candidates and internal staff. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. - Proficiency in managing tasks such as scheduling interviews and pre-employment screenings. - Knowledge of drug testing procedures. - Customer service experience to support employee and candidate inquiries effectively.
