Job Description
Semper Home Loans, a direct lender licensed in 42 states, is seeking a skilled Mortgage Recruiter to join our executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and HR Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our organization’s growth and contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with candidates expressing interest through recruitment email campaigns and assess their qualifications.
Proactively reach out to potential loan officers and branch managers through cold calling efforts.
Complete detailed branch and loan officer questionnaires and gather contact information for HR coordination.
Collaborate with Human Resources to draft term sheets and pay plans.
Ensure contracts are signed and delivered promptly via email, while coordinating licensing setup with NMLS.
Provide pricing details to recruits through the Optimal Blue system, maintaining communication with Secondary on margins.
Support recruits on loan submission processes, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
Stay up to date with investor programs and demonstrate industry knowledge to recruits.
Work closely with the processing team to ensure smooth file transitions for newly recruited loan officers.
Oversee onboarding, addressing questions, and monitoring pipelines in Encompass to ensure production goals are met.
Qualifications:
~3-7 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
~2-5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the mortgage sector.
~ Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
~ Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
~ Strong communication skills with a sales-driven mindset.
~ Experience with Optimal Blue and Encompass is preferred.
