Description Position at JBS Carriers, Inc.   Position Title: Security Guard Department: Facilities Location: Greeley, CO Reports to:Facilities Manager Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday Off Saturday and Sunday 6 a.m.-2 p.m.   Position Overview: Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all company facilities and assets. This role involves monitoring and patrolling company premises, managing access points, and responding to security incidents effectively. Key Responsibilities: ~Patrol company premises and designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion. ~Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles. ~Inspect and monitor access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs. ~Ensure the security of the company’s fleet, including trucks and trailers, by conducting regular inspections. ~Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activity. ~Maintain security equipment, such as surveillance cameras and alarm systems, ensuring they are operational. ~Report any security breaches, incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel. ~Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. ~Maintain detailed records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents. Qualifications: ~High school diploma or equivalent. ~Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred. ~Strong observational and problem-solving skills. ~Ability to remain clam and act efficiently during emergencies. ~Excellent written and verbal skills ~Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods. ~Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
