Role: Senior Python FastAPI Developer (AWS & Microservices)
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Role Description: Key Responsibilities DevelopmentDesign and develop RESTful microservices using FastAPI and Python 3.8Build scalable, maintainable, and testable code following best practicesImplement asynchronous programming patterns for high-performance applicationsDesign and implement API specifications using OpenAPISwagger standardsDevelop event-driven architectures using message queues and streaming platformsCloud Integration DeploymentDeploy applications to AWS environments using existing infrastructureIntegrate with AWS services like S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and BedrockWork with AWS SDKs (boto3), and LiteLLM to interact with cloud services programmaticallyDevelop comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and API testing)Implement caching strategies and performance optimization for AI responsesCreate and maintain API documentation Required QualificationsCore Technical Skills12 years of IT experience8 years with Python5 years of experience with FastAPI or similar async web frameworks (Flask, Django)Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns and best practicesProficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)Experience with RESTful API design principles and GraphQL (preferred)Knowledge of API authentication using Oauth and JWTDevelopment Tools PracticesKnowledge of Git, version control, and collaborative development workflowsExperience with Docker for application containerizationKnowledge of automated testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) including AIML testingExperience with API testing tools (Postman, pytest, with monitoring and logging best practices for AI applications
