Your Mission

We're building a platform engineering team focused on delivering secure, scalable, and developer-friendly infrastructure. As a Technical Writer, you'll play a key role in making our tools, processes, and systems accessible and understandable to internal users. You'll work closely with engineers, developer experience specialists, and product leads to create clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation that drives adoption and improves usability.

This is a well-defined, high-impact role for someone who thrives on translating technical complexity into practical guidance. You'll be part of a collaborative, outcome-driven team that values clarity, empathy, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain internal documentation for platform tools, services, and workflows
• Collaborate with engineers and developer experience specialists to understand systems and translate them into clear, usable content
• Develop onboarding guides, runbooks, FAQs, and self-service resources
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with platform standards
• Organize and manage internal knowledge bases and developer portals
• Advocate for clarity and usability in technical communication across the team
• Collect and incorporate feedback from internal users to improve documentation quality

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in engineering or DevOps environments
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Experience writing for audiences such as developers, engineers, or technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, and scripting tools
• Experience with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Markdown, GitHub, Confluence)
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of developer workflows and internal tooling
• Experience supporting large platform documentation
• Background in UX writing or developer experience enablement
• Experience working in regulated environments or with compliance frameworks (e.g., GxP, SOC2, HIPAA)
• Fluent in English; capable of clear technical communication and collaboration across scientific and engineering disciplines
