Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated  Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role reports to our VP of Commercial Services and is at the forefront of our expansion into the small and medium-sized business market. As a key driver of commercial services growth, the Inside Sales Representative will focus on adding new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) while maintaining a high level of activity to generate results. The ability to articulate IQ Fiber's unique value proposition in the marketplace will be key to achieving success.

In this role, you'll have the chance to build relationships, solve problems, and help businesses within our network unlock their full potential through our reliable fiber-optic internet services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively engage with inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate internet packages and services.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects through CRM tools.
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and answer technical or service-related questions.
  • Follow up with prospects consistently to close deals and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to understand and optimize lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Stay current on industry trends, pricing, and competitive offerings.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and timely communication throughout the entire sales process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in internet or telecom industry.
  • Strong understanding of internet technologies, including broadband, fiber, coax, DSL, and wireless.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Experience selling B2B internet access solutions.
  • Knowledge of regional ISPs and telecommunications regulations.
  • Familiarity with VoIP, cloud services, security or network infrastructure.
